Rising Prosecutor of the Year

The purpose of the Rising Prosecutor of the Year Award is to give special recognition and encouragement to young, front-line prosecutors who have demonstrated outstanding performance in their work. This award is presented annually to an Assistant State Attorney in the Sixth Judicial Circuit who is 35 years or under, or has been practicing for five years or less, and who has shown exemplary integrity, fairness, and professional ethics as a prosecutor. A recipient, or list of nominees, is selected by the judiciary of the Sixth Judicial Circuit and delivered to the Clearwater Bar Association by the Chief Judge or his or her designee.
